I was watching some Arnold Schwarzenegger movie last night and noticed he was smoking a cigar several in several scenes (he even used one to blow a guy up, you got to love the govenator  ). How about a list of some notable cigar apearances in movies? I have seen this mentioned a few times but thought it deserved its own topic.

William H. Macy's character in Sahara is a cigar smoker.
There are several scenes in Tombstone with cigar smoking.

How 'bout those old spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood? He had a cigar in just about every one.

A lot of westerns have memorable characters smoking cigars but one recently(at least on HBO and dvd recently) that I think is great is Open Range. Michael Jeter's character Percy's lines about cigars crack me up.

Boss Spearman: Brought you a cigar, all the way from Havana, Cuba.
Percy: You don't say. I've heard about them but I've never had one. Much obliged to you.
Boss Spearman: What do you think?
Percy: Better than them crappers I usually smoke.

and the best one in the whole movie:

Percy: Well, that damned Cuban cigar got me riled up.

Swingers had Vince & John smoking cigars at several points in the movie. There was also a girl at a party smoking a stoge (women smoking cigars = sexy).

The bad guys smoked Cohibas in Bad Boys II

Gene Hackman smoked cigars in Crimson Tide with Denzel Washington.

Independance Day -- Will Smith can't leave on a mission without a cigar to smoke ine celebration afterwards.

Ocean's 12. and Ocean's 11. I've always wondered what cigar he is smoking at the end of Ocean's 12 when they go to the end poker scence...

anyone who could tell me would me a great person! lol

Also wedding crashers:

Secretary Cleary: Yes! Well put. Short sighted. John, how about we go out on the deck and light up a couple of cigars?
John Beckwith: Stogies?
Secretary Cleary: Yeah.
John Beckwith: Why not?

Clint has a good line in "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly."

(Clint) Blondie: After a meal, there is nothing like a good cigar.

In High Plains Drifter, (Clint) Stranger, charges the town a cigar fee for his gunfighter services.

Also a lot of the characters in the "Godfather I and II" smoke cigars. Or maybe just the first one.

The Godfather has a line in the book not the movie on how "the smoke from Cubans hurts his throat" and he prefers Dominicans.

Visited that seen in Ocean's 12 last night, I believe it's a RYJ EL. Ocean's 11 and 12 are the best.

Wedding crashers is funny as hell though! Diora is in it...

Its not too often that i see a western that really impresses me, but i watched this movie for the first time last night and it was hands down one of the best ive seen, and probably one of Costners best films hes made...Duvall puts on a good show too. Highly recomended to anyone!

Bud ("I've got connections at the airport.") gave Gekko ("Greed is good.") a box of ISOMs for his birthday in Wall Street. Starred Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheehan.
