Cigar of the month clubs

I've seen a couple too. I'd rather just buy cigars I want when I want. But that's just me. I haven't heard of many people on this board that belong to clubs like you described. But on the other hand, I'm new.

I belonged to one for a couple three years and was happy with the club. I got a good variety of sticks to try and quickly got an idea of what type I liked and which ones I didn't.
Check out Friendly Cigar Store and look under their monthly sampler section. Or just call and ask for Arlene or Scott. The rest is on you.

Don't waste your time or money. You can get cigars cheaper and better just from asking the guys on this site.

I was in Cigar Dave's club for about 3 months, after the 3 month's worth of sticks I got from him totaled about $35, and I'd paid 19.95 per mth, I dropped it. The only advantage was that they were newer smokes that my shop hadn't got in yet, but that's not worth paying double msrp for. (for me, anyway)

Hmmmm Jeffro says he "stands corrected" but no apology? Jefferoo, there was absolutely nothing wrong with my post when I stated that your little "concentration game" was getting "a little old" but you took it way too personally and went into attack mode. This seems to be a pattern with you.
Gettingback to the cigar of the month club, I've never been inclined to join one of those. I don't think they're worth it as I would never smoke at least half of the cigars in any given "selection."

Being a member of this site is better than any cigar club! They tend to send yard smokes anyway, I wouldn't waste my money.
