Yeah I signed up to a cigar site thats it I joined to learn some more then what I know about cigars not get a run around. And im on a ton of other sites for my other hobby and never stir up shit. Because when were there we awnser things not tell people to search there awnsers and read through 100 threads to find awnsers I have 3 posts that I started and in all 3 someone has to throw in SEARCH IT. Which to me is not a way to help people. If thats the case why have a community just use google. And again thanks to the guys that helped me find the rules and the kind posts

Perhaps the reason people are telling you to search is because your questions have been asked many times and others have already taken the time to answer them many times. Perhaps it is possible that upon joining an already established community you might want to take the time to look around and get to know how things operate before opening your mouth. I will let others elaborate

Extremely well stated Rod, and that's the point precisely. There's no sense in wasting the times of others, as well as bandwidth, by asking questions that can be very easily answered by simply looking around a bit (far less than "100 threads" too), particularly with regard to an issue whose answer has been addressed in detail, let alone "pinned", to the homepage, in the very first header/subject. Certainly your experience in "tons" of other of boards has taught at least that much...or at least one would hope. If not, perhaps you do now.

These great guys are not trying to piss you off, they just dont want people posting threads about things that have already been talked about a million times. The search button will be your best friend, if you cant find your answer after you have SEARCHED for it then ask. Dont get mad if people make you look like a dumbass, this is there forum and until you are an FOG or have respect in their community, well then tough Sh#$. These guys are great and can provide you with tons of info and fun, but know one wants to help someone who signs up and starts telling people f@#$ off, if that is how you do it on your other sites, than you mine as well leave, because you are not going to get very far acting like that. If anyone stirred anything up it was me, I unintentionally started something that was likely targeted for someone else. One thing I would like to point out to the FOG's, not everyone has been on forums before and not all forums are like this. A new guy might not know something like search exists, a new guy to forums might not know it is appropriate to intro yourself. I have been a member on another sight for a while and less than half of everyone there intros themself. And would you like to know how many times people on my other forum use search, not many. If I wanted to know weather to keep the cello on or off, I go to search and type in cello and 22 pages worth of threads come up, the other day I started a thread talking about software, before I started the thread I did a search for software and 15 pages come up. Nobody is going to go through 22 pages of crap they don't care about to find their thread. My suggestion is, if you don't want to give an answer, don't hit reply. I have made my apologies to AVB but this post is for everyone.
