Cigar Podcast Forum - keep it or ditch it?

Should we keep the podcast forum or remove it?

Since I subscribe to both, they already pop up automatically in my podcast aggregator.

Maybe a suggestion would be to add those and a few others (I can send) and put them on the front page as a resource.

Perhaps instead of a whole forum that gets updated on each release, just a thread where people can post new cigar related resources to check out. I think anyone who listens to podcasts regularly is going to have some kind of feed (RSS, itunes, whatever) and is going to get updated on each new release anyway. But a place for people to discover related podcasts, websites, etc. might be cool. For example, I discovered DogWatch Cigar Radio because of the podcast links here, but once I had one link I didn't need to revisit the forum for more.

I just noticed this thread. I don't think the podcast forum is particularly great. In fact, Doc Stogie Fresh's podcasts are annoying. DogWatch Dale is okay, but who really has the time to listen to +1hr podcasts?

That makes perfect sense. I think a single thread is a great idea. Honestly, I've been here about 2 months and didn't realize we had a Podcast forum until now.

Did it use resources on the Forum that could slow things down?

I did find them very long. If they were shorter and to the point, I probably would have listened to more of them.

This is exactly why I stopped listening to them. Too drawn out, with the majority of time not devoted to the cigars.

It get's real boring. Almost like those TV shows that keep telling you the good part is coming after the break.

Technically correct, but that "after" part could mean 2 or 25 minutes.
