I am all set to go to the CROA tour on 8/19 in NY. I know its for a good cause and I will do everything in my power to support it, but I just layed out $300. I understand I get to meet all of the makers (AWESOME) and get a dinner with a fantastic rooftop view, but anyone hear anything about the "Limited Edition" smokes that are being passed around? I was sold on the whole basis of CROA tour, but once I saw the words "Limited Edition" smokes, I went out and got my tickets.

Anyone have any information on these or how the event it overall?

The $300 price tag is what is keeping me away. I'm already a member, why is it part of admission and why don't they take that into effect?

Wow, it's much less here in the hinterlands. You don't get a snazzy dinner, but the MN and WI events are like $45-$75.

I didn't see any mention of limited sticks. I did see the limited edition t-shirt mentioned, though. This is from their website for the NY event:

Ticket price includes:

* 1 Year Membership to CRA
* Finest Cigars
* Limited Edition CRA Freedom Tour T-shirt
* DJ Music
* Premium Open Bar
* Butlered Hors D'Oeuvre
* Sumptuous Summer Dinner

$50 here in Illinois, $40 if you purchase before hand, i went and bought yesterday. The owner of the store never mentioned limited edition sticks, but i'll call him later and feport back.
