Double D and I play WoW aka World of Warcraft, and we restarted on a new server this past weekend and on the second day help form a guild.

One of the guild members name is "Partagas" so I get to talking to him and find out hes a BOTL as well... Later that day a new guild forms on our server called

"Knights of Havana" and the guild leader's name is "Cohiba"

lol made me laugh, good to see so many PC gamers and geeks are also cigar lovers.
 
That's pretty cool. I play computer games alot (quake, CS, and others) but have never seen anyone named after cigar brands.

One of these days I am going to move my computer outside for a day so I can smoke while I game. That would be awesome.
 
Battlefield 2, Half Life2,CS Source and DoD Source junkie here...my tag is not cigar related though, and i don't recall seeing any.
 
....my wife got hooked on first person shooters; I had to upgrade her PC hardware as a result... :laugh: We play UT2K4 over the LAN almost every day. We usually play "capture the flag" as a team and really have a great time. Our PC's are in the same room so we can stratigize in "real time".

I've played most of the Id software games; recently started the new "Castle Wolfenstein" over from the beginning. Looking forward to UT2K7.... :cool:

I've played final fantasy 11 for 2 years now. Played WoW for a while but lost interest.
 
I use to play computer games then had kids. Now I play candyland like bfreebern and chutes & ladders more than anything.

Quake 4 is really sweet if you havent tried it yet, alot better than Doom 3.
 
Halo 2... is there really a need for anything else? ;)

I will say I've tried the new Splinter Cell on Xbox Live and it was pretty awesome.
 
Funny- I am not a gamer, although I have dabbled... I am not into PC's cause in my mind they SUX, I am a Mac head, love tech, love gadgets, and I am not afraid to crack stuff open. Does that make me a cigar smoking geek?

I'm with you guys on this one. No more time for the computer games.

I have more fun with the board games anyway. . . :D
 
Are you folks aware, that there's a whole generation of kids who don't know how to shuffle cards? That my friends is sad.

yep, my neice and nephew are a good case (10 and 5 respectivly), showed them a 45rpm record and they replied, "wow, that old cd's player must have been giant!"
gave me a chuckle anyway.
 
Video games stress me out too much! I'll leave them for the kids to play. My kids are into all that shit.

My best cigar smiking buddy plays some on line game and he gets all worked up. He yells and cusses at the other people and gets all mad. Just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I am on Durotan! If you ever re-roll on that server look me up. My guild is "Fox Clan". Dagertra is my toon.

That's why they make automatic Shufflers. :)

Actually I agree with you and I stress to my kids, and nephews the importance of getting away from technology... They love to go outside and play tag, man-hunt, cards, etc...
 
I taught my oldest daughter how to play poker when she was 6... my wife was like "sure you did" :rolleyes: And then my girl proceeded to clobber her 10 games in a row lol
 
When I play Halo on xbox live, you really wouldn't believe what comes out of these 10 yr. old kids' mouths. I've yelled at a couple of kids when they start in on some racist remarks, but it never does any good.
