You wouldn't think this would be a needed piece of advice but.....

This is all I have to say to sum up the Macanudo event.

Funny you should mention the vultures that come out to some of these events. My local shop does about 10 events per year. I see so many people that I NEVER see in there hanging out or even just to shop and leave.

Funny story . . . a couple of events ago there was this lady who appeard was probably 60 but looked 80 and looked like she was one SS check away form living in a box. She shows up with a guy "friend" and they partake of the free cigars, food and drinks and proceed to stay all day. Later I notice that she is being politely asked to leave by the owner. After she is gone I ask what was up. He tells me that in addition to sucking up all the beer and food (and of course not buying a thing) she was trolling through the ash rays and taking out all of the butts. She was taking these and putting them in a plastic bag in her purse. :0 I guess at that point he had about enough.
Nothing like a quality doggie bag for the road. :laugh:
