A friend of mine is going to sell me his humidor along with the cigars he has inside of it. Some of the smokes are decent however they have been stored with flavored cigars and clove cigarettes. Needless to say, all the cigars now smell like vanilla and clove. Is their anyway to bring the sticks back to their natural state?

If I were you I wouldn't buy any humidor that was used to store either flavored cigars or especially, clove cigarettes. The Spanish cedar in a humidor absorbs the odors of what is inside it and if there were clove cigarettes inside the humidor for any length of time you will never get rid of that stench.
Most humidors can be found for not a hell of a lot of $ so I'd just buy a new one!

Edited for typo

Yea I didn't buy it. The clove smell was too overwhelming. I didn't really need it in the first place. He was just giving me a great deal. It's a shame he stored Acids, Rum Dips and clove cigs with 10 Cohiba Cuban's and alot of other really good sticks.
