Cohiba 30 Aniversario Siglo V '96

Because of the generousity of a member on this board, I was able to obtain one of these cigars thru a trade. It is the chosen one, the cigar that I will smoke to celebrate the birth of my daughters! ohh, the anxiousness sets in!

Anyways, I know that this is a fanstastic smoke and is very highly rated, etc. But I have not been able to find very much, if any, real info on this particular cigar. I'd like to hear any stories or opinions any of you that have tried one may have.

These are very nice cigars -- 1000 jars were made in 1996 with 25 cigars per jar to commemorate Cohiba's 30 anniversary. The jars are numbered from 1 to 1000.

The size is Robustos Especiales, 7 1/2" x 50.
 
Do you mind mentioning when your expected delivery date will be?

Siglo V's are DALIAS - 6 3/4" x 43 (170 x 17.07 mm). These are fantastic cigars. Smoke it slow so you don't miss out on the complexities.

You're thinking of the special cigar made for the dinner in '96.

Only 850 of the Robusto Especials were made for the event. For the moment, there are no plans to commercialize this size, although another 2,250 were made for 45 special humidors, each of which was filled with 50 of the cigars."

...and that's why playing poker with you at the table is one of the things I miss most about Rochester!
