Greetings from Mercer Cigars, Merida, Mexico.

We've just returned from a grand week in NYC, herfing across town with our good friends, Mitch Orchant, owner of C.GARS LTD, and Guy Hancock of Decent Cigar Emporium. These are true cigar mavens, guys know how to herf in style, and they had no problem adapting their Old World Charm with some NYC hustle.

That looks quite overpriced? I 'only' payed 330,00$ for my box of BHK 52 10pc.

If these prices are in Peso, I'm in,, if that is US, sure looks way high.

In countries where taxes are generally high, such as Mexico, England, or Canada, genuine Cuban cigars are going to be more expensive compared to places in the European Union. Heck, you can reference one the places the OP cited and see for yourself. Plus, some people are willing to pay extra when they know they are getting the genuine article. Besides, maybe I am out of line, but I think it's disrespectful to openly criticize an established and respected vendor of his prices, especially given the country of origin of his business. If he is blatantly trying to gouge the community, or has a history of doing so, then that would be something entirely different, but that is not the case. If you feel his prices are too high then just don't buy from him.

Sorry, I didn't mean to start a complete discussion about the dealers prices. It was just something I noticed and responded to. I am not sure about the different prices in different regions, you might be right with that which would explain the difference in price. Didn't wanted to bring the topic starter in discredit.

No worries I am pretty sure you did not discredit Drew. His rep is solid :).
