I recently purchased these and someone on a different forum told me that they were real, but I'm still worried, so I was wondering what people think on this forum. Any advice would be great!

What has you worried?

Can you take some close ups of the box (inner corners/hinges and such).

Who did you buy them from - a vendor? On p-u-f-f dot com?

Then well get to the cigars.

Does anyone have a box they can compare with?

Know your source! ;)

I don't have any specific concerns. I'm just rather new to Cubans and wanted to make sure of what I have in case I wanted to do some trading.

the box looks legit to me. I have a box at home I'll revisit when I get back from work.

Close ups of the wood...edges with box open...is that press board?

I'll have to see if I save an early box.

Then...take a close up of the cap? Are they triples?

Did the remove your thread on p-u-f-f?

Figrues Pasta would notice your PJ's!

They are cute though!

:whistling:

I'm actually back at school and those were the only pictures that I took before I left. (I keep my large humidor at home). I do remember looking for a triple-cap and it was there.
And I did have this removed from puff, because I didn't realize that I had to be a member for 90 days before posting about Cubans.

Without actually having them in my hands, I can't tell you for certain one way or the other. The best way to tell, would be to smoke one. If you've had them before, you'll know if there is something off or different. If you haven't, find a review and compare notes. If it tastes like crap, there is a good change it's not authentic. If it doesn't, then smoke 'em and enjoy 'em.

They may be fake, they could be legitimate. If you trust your source, smoke them and stop worrying. If you don't, don't buy from them again, save yourself the hassle.

It's just my $0.02 on the matter.

Well first sign will be one out of 5 smokes okay the 4 other will be plugged.... (but the good one will be very very nice)

There's truth in that! If you get a headache just trying to draw the slightest bit, you are good to go. If every one you smoke draws like a dream, you've got yourself a box of fake Cohibas.

*EDIT* (assuming these things haven't been aged for 2+ years before you came into possession of them...)

Cut one down the middle in half, and you'll learn a lot.

Rod has a point!

Well mine was from 2010 if my memorie serves. And I still found 80% of them to be plugged (higher rate than my siglo's IV but then again..lol)
