Sleep deprived and cranky
Folks like Souldog24ca, Q-The-Cop, Rod, Shamrocker, Devil Doc and others will have plenty to say. Listen to them. They be the WIZARDS.

Fuente has his limited sticks...
I am still not completely sold on Tatuaje. The first Tatuajes were released in 2003 and when you compare that to something like Padron, Tats look like babies.
And when I mentioned holidays, I was really meaning any holiday, not just Christmas time.
Anyways, it being "that time of year" we're going to begin to see a lot of holiday releases come about from retailers.

I don't collect consumables. I consume consumables.
Doc.
I just must add one maybe almost final remark. You seem to be hung up on increase in value over time.
If you buy them, first of all, they are meant to be smoked, yes, aged for a bit, but smoked; not collected like Picasso etc.
Anyone will tell you, it's only worth what someone will pay, first you have to find a buyer; that being of course that you have stored what the gang is looking for. And no one here is going to pay a collectors rate for that magic cigar. Why, because there are enough folks here that will gift that person if it came right down to it.
My closing argument: buy only what YOU like and will smoke.
I wish you many puffs of pleasure and look forward to your posts and reviews of what you have found.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm perfectly happy with my Rocky Patel Edge Torpedo at $6 a stick (California price).
I'm not sure what special releases I'll be chasing this year. I guess I am getting lazy, but I probably won't get any unless a few fall into my lap. The two limited I would probably buy are the Hemingway maduros and the Anejos. These are still reasonably price IMO, and are always a tasty cigar.
A lot of the other LEs don't seem to stand out enough to justify the higher price tags. After smoking a few of these "holy grails", I was almost always not disappointed in the cigar, but often thought, "I'd rather of had two Anejos instead."
I started out trying to get my hands on all the HTF stuff and collect them, but later decided I rather have a box of something I would actually smoke that the 6-8 of the HTF cigars in my "collection". I've got nothing against someone putting together a collection.
God knows I have plenty of comic books, baseball cards, etc. from the younin' days... and that is exactly what I liken a lot of the chasing today. Does everyone really like the Drac's and Boris' that much they have to get thier hands on them to smoke? Or is it the thrill of the hunt in actually having a box stashed in the humi? Either way, I don't care. If it feels good, do it.

x1000 Matt, x1000!
Wow, no one told me we had wizards here! The next thing I'll learn is that we have fairies too! Where's the pixie dust?
