Competitive Dog Grooming

Believe it or not, there is a US Grooming Team. And, after only two years competing, my wife came in 3rd this year (she was 6th last year). The top 5 will travel to Belgium next fall to compete internationally.

She also made the copy of the October issue of Groomer to Groomer (she's the one in the blue dress). The dog is an Irish Water Spaniel that she won Best in Show with in Hershey, Pennsylvania this fall. Not only is this her first (of hopefully many) magazine covers, this is the first time an Irish Water Spaniel has been featured on the cover of this magazine.

Please wish her luck in Belgium next year.

Congrats to the wife dude. She must love what she does because not all dogs will put up with being groomd.
