Yeppers, the 589th BOTLs have very little time left before we get on that silver bird and head home. Obviously we can't wait.

We've completed our battalions mission here and done our part to help with the war on terror. Now it's time to get back and relax a bit, spend time with family, and of course hit every B&M within a 4 hour radius.

A big thanks to you all for the amount of support we've received while over here. I can't say enough, and you were all part of it. Just loggin on CP daily and giving me something new to read about took me away from all of this from time to time.

Thanks a bunch guys, I'll be sure to post a final "Baghdad" location post before heading out for good. But the days are in single digits.
 
Congrats Wyatt! and thank you for your service as well as the other brothers and sisters over there. It's real nice to hear things like this with all the craziness going on. Have a great flight home big guy.

When you get settled PM me your new Addy, I have an old school German Cigar Ashtray for you (old school as in made in 1957).

Its almost as cool as my Kitzmann ;) and holds four large cigars. Its not in pristine condition (read used for what it was made for) but its not broke either.

Aw, hell yeah bro. Damn, you got me all excited now.

My new addy can now be found in my profile. But don't get any crazy ideas fellas. Now that I'll be back in the states, I can return fire with much ease.

Brew, headin' back to Fort Hood, Texas......then my next assignment will be exit stage left. My time is served and it's time to start serving my family. I'll be looking for a civilian career :)

Thanks again for the well wishes all. It feels great.

sweet wyatt, glad to see your finally getting back to civilization and the 21st century! you guys flying commercial or hopping an airforce transport? i know a guy who flew in a C130 from Rhode Island to Baghdad and was miserable.
