I was hoping you guys would be coming through DFW on your way home but I guess you're heading straight to HOOD. As soon as you all get settled in and can make your way up to Arlington (on your way to Rockwall), Tobacco Road and the Beach family are planning a welcome home herf and Texas style BBQ. You just say when and it's done! Mi humidor es su humidor.

We definately won't be a stranger to Tobacco Road, et al (and I believe I can speak for the entire 589th BOTL)....

I'm trying to clear the calendar for 10 Dec to watch the White Rock Marathon; will keep you posted. :thumbs:

There's also a Big Bash on Fort Hood in February to welcome all of us back home....we hope some of you can make it to that and don't forget about my Promotion Party on 2 Dec.

Made it to Kuwait!!!

After 8 straight hours in a C130 (if you know what a C130 is you can appreciate that) we landed in Kuwait.

Just a day here, then on the freedom bird to Texas. Can't wait to get there.

My next update to this thread will be from my comfy apartment in Texas :)

I've got about 800 Herc hours so far - Love it!

Not such a fan of the terminal in Kuwait, though.

Good luck, safe journey and maybe I can find an excuse to get out of Fayetteville and over to Hood for that party in Feb. I *should* be home by the holidays....

Congrats on the Promotion HnT and I hope the party goes well. I'll have a Gatorade or Red Bull here in your honor.
