Cool Chart

This chart is hardly an accurate guideline, even when comparing like sizes ...

Example:
H.Upmann Mag 46 vs ERdM Gran Corona ... The Mag 46 is far stronger, IMO

While I would think most would agree with the first two brands, everything else is suspect. Even within a brand strengths can vary wildy from vitola to vitola and year to year.

The San Christobal, in my limited experience, is at the milder end of the scale..where as they have it up there with much stronger smokes, imho.

This chart seems way too general and subjective and lumps all the different vitolas or sizes of the same brand together, and then very subjectively rates the strength while ignoring size and year of production differences.

Consequently, it is not too surprising the accuracy suffers! After all, we are not talking about Marlboro and Lucky Strikes now are we??

I agree that it is very general... it's used to give a point of reference for new smokers... probably a newbie would be better served smoking a Hoyo then a Bolivar.

You could chart vitolas but not brands. The PLPC is one of the stronger PCs but they have PL toward the bottom. Besides what would you use this for?
