Just had to come on here since it has been awhile and rejoice how well my coolerdor is working. For a few years I was chasing a leaky humidor and was extremely frustrated. Well, I have had this coolerdor for 4 months now and has held it's humidity at 66% and 67% the entire time. It is amazing, my cigars are actually getting the love they need.
I went with beads and a remote hydrometer in a huge 160 qt cooler from Costco. It is in our guest bathroom (bathtube) which is the coolest place in the house and is also the most discreet because of the curtain.
Just had a Partagas Black Label Maximo that was put in there 4 months ago, and man was it a good! Had to order more of course!
Anyways, if anyone is thinking of going with a coolerdor. I think it is totally the way to go in my opinion.
