Costa Rican Tobacco

I am a huge fan of the Country of Costa Rica. As an avid surfer and a beach lover it is a beautiful and Ideal pleace to enjoy both. I came a cross a few cigars while browsing online (i.e. Gurkha Titan and The Beast) which have aged Costa Rican wrappers and I was wondering if anyone can impart any knowledge about the tobacco from this country to me. Thanks.

Bucanero Cigars has a factory in Costa Rica, and uses CR tobacco. Below is a link to their site, read about the cigars might give you some info.

I don't know much about Costa Rican tobacco, but I echo your comments about the place.

It's a great country! Beautiful beaches, mountains, rivers, and a paradise for the adrenaline junkie.

I went there on feb. '06 and had a great time. Rented a jeep and did everything: pub crawling in San Jose, river rafting the Pacuare, visited the arenal, surfed in Tamarindo, and even bought some furniture in Sarchi.

Can wait to go back, Pura Vida!

BTW, Panama is also great and cheaper right now than Costa Rica.
