Well ccat, I would have never guessed that you of all people have a major university named in your honor. Found the website while surfing the net on an unrelated topic. I'm not making this up, it's true!.
All joking aside, we all know that communities in our country are named after ones from others. Still, you never know if they know Bill and have chosen to honor him with his own university. :thumbs:
Well, that's the city in the UK where my "handle" comes from. Coventry, UK is where the Jaguar factory is and sometimes Jaguars are referred to as "Coventry Cats"
There is a town in Connecticut named Coventry which is only about ten minutes from me. It's actually where my ex-wife was born and raised and I have lots of cousins who live there. Chaplin is the next town east of Mansfield where UCONN is located and Coventry is the next town west of Mansfield.
Coventry, CT is definately named after Coventry, England
Despite what may be questionable judgment on their part, there are worse things than a school devoted to fine cars and cigars and a love of the English language.
