I'm about half way through my bag of CP Coffee. It is much smoother than any other coffee I've had that is roasted this darkly. I was leery at first because I generally like a little lighter roast due to the bitterness I usually get in darker roasts, but this is almost perfect to my tastes. It is very flavorful, smooth, and the aroma is outstanding. I haven't tried it with a cigar yet, but I think this is going to pair quite nicely with a Padron 2000 maduro (or probably just about any maduro or fuller bodied cigar). It may be too overpowering for me to really enjoy it with a less "robust" or very "nuanced" stick.
I didn't do anything special, just grind it in my cheapo disk grinder, pour it in the filter, and hit the switch on the drip coffee maker. That's the way I prepare all of my coffee. I'm usually too damn tired to fiddle around with much more preparation than that. :laugh:

I've made a couple of pots since I got mine. I like it a lot. The adjective clean comes to mind with a very pleasant acidity. It's not a morning coffee though. It's better suited to mid-afternoon when I need a kick in the but.
