Well to answer the serious part of your questions:
Auto-draft just means, instead of having a set time that everyone shows up and individually drafts each player (aka Live-Draft) they want... You will rank your players by position and then select what postion you want drafted in each round. On a set date the computer will then draft the entire league based on everyones set parameters. This is an easier draft alternative to the "live-draft" concept. You don't have to be present draft day.
Time requirement is minimal: You will only need to really log-in once a week if you so desire, to update your starting line-up for each week. If you want to make a trade with another team or pick-up a free agent, you can do this within minutes time. Fantasy sites are extremelu user friendly and even a challenged individual like yourself will find it easy...LMFAO
All player information, stat related, performance related is available on the site. So you can quickly research a player.
All rules and points scoring is available at the site and again in little time you will have complete understanding of how a fanasty league works.
As for your not so serious questions:
You get no salary. You are a team owner.
Your not a rookie, because again, your a team owner.
You write the checks, because again, your a team owner.
You not playing, because again, your a team owner...so who cares if your injured.
This is football, I'm not sure why you would wear tennis shoes, but whatever fits your fancy.

As far as I know, owners don't have agents, but if you must have one, I will be happy to represent you. My fee is 25% of all cigars that you currently have in your humi, plus another 5% of all cigars you aquire the rest of the year.
