Ok, since it seems no one else is on right now, I'll start it off.
CP is the greatest because of the members.
Sure, it's a great wealth of cigar info, and the passes are outstanding, but it's the friendships that I've made here that makes it the greatest for me.

With out a shadow of a doubt it is the people. But I still can't figure out why people aren't joining the anonymous pass. Seems like a great way to get to know others on the board(I know, shameless plug). Also want to say thanks to Rod for all the hard work you have put into this site.

I think it is the free bubble wrap and Sharpies that are available! 
Seriously, I think it is because there are no big egos here that need to be the center of attraction. Also everyone is quick to offer assistance to other members asking for information.
But I think the big plus is that Rod is willing to put up with us and on top of that to keep updating the site. :thumbs:

As per paragraph 2...There are plenty of big ego's here. I am one of them. But like real men do, day in and day out, they wipe their feet and check their ego's at the door before entering.... :thumbs:

First and foremost I think it's a left-right combo of the members and Rod. Members make this place so enjoyable to be around, and Rod, playing the part of a great host, makes sure that the members stay by constantly keeping on top of the site. I've been around a long time in the online arena, and I'll say this again: Rod is the best webmaster I've seen outside of the corporations that keeps his site up to date.
Back ot the members though, I haven't seen on many other boards people so willing to go out of their way to help someone that has a question, no matter how it sounds.
But for me, why do I stay? The chicks. Those little birds are so damn cute.

As a relative "newbie", I'll have to agree. It the members! When I asked questions of a few people, the answers came w/o reservation. No one made me feel stupid.
When I wanted to try a few ISOMS, members go on board with my first pass and helped me out! And to this day, I am still very greatful to those members.
Rod, you are a tremendous webmaster! Keep up the great work.

The cigars and Box Passes have brought us together but I'm in total agreement with DaveWF... it's the people that make this place GREAT! :thumbs: :thumbs:
The friendships made here are real and I've been blessed to have been accepted into this wonderful community... or better yet... this wonderful family!

The friends here are great, we argue sometimes, but we stay friends.
I would love it if there were a way for all of us to herf together, but until then, Rod (Wbmaster extraordinair) has created this virtual herf for us, and it is a wonderful place.
So as has been said, it is the people here that make this a great place!!!

Hey I would have to say that most of my reasons why I love this place are you guys.
I mean really how many places can a person go online today and make some mistakes and have people care enough to bother to point them out, and assist you through a learning period? Not many I tell you.
You guys may not know how special you are to this person, so I will let you know. There have been many times when my personal life has been quite (how do I say ****ty) and I always get a good response from you guys. Sometimes it is a small note saying hang in there or sometimes it arives in the form of a email sharing with me.
Of those times when I was down the guys here have always been suportive, even when some of them where mad at me at the time.
So yes it is the members,
The vast quality of Information availible is nice also.

Joining this group has been great. Its become an extended family.
Its hard to go a day let alone a couple of hours without wanting to sign on and check into what's the latest topic or who's going to start the next best pass.
Rod, thanks for hosting this great site it's always changing for the better and it really is all of you guys out there who make this a place I love coming to everyday...... thanks for the ongoing friendships
