the admins here don't seem to be picky about you mentioning the existance of other boards. If you want to use your tenure on another board for references I don't think anyone would mind if you say "I am X on board Y".
I smoke the cheapies and sandwiches and LIKE 'em, so if you want recommendations on decent cheap ones feel free to talk to me. I am eventually going to get around to compiling a cheap/second/sandwich FAQ and post it here and on a few other boards.
Like other people recommended - put in on the newbie trade and people will soon trust you. Hell, that bastage GL made several trades here, a lot of people here are generous and trusting. A few people have gotten burnt, but a lot of us would bomb a guy that got burnt in a pass.
