CP users and CBid

Personally, I have mostly stopped using cbid. The cigars I would bid on usually are being sold at CI for less money and are in stock.

A lot of people at cbid seem to get carried away with their bidding and end up paying more than retail.

I don't see what is being proposed here as collusion at all, but rather courtesy to fellow CPers. I don't think anyone here has plans of selling of their winnings to other CPers in an attempt to screw Cbid.

We already do that in the form of the GROUP BUY. All I see here is the suggestion that CPers identify themselves so CPers who want to give their fellow BOTLs a better chance at winning the auction by not bidding against them. I don't see how the CPer who chooses not to outbid another CPer gains anything at all.

Isn't that the same thing as agreeing not to buy the last Opus from the box in order for your buddy to buy it because you have some and he doesn't?

That's pretty much what I was getting at, and also why I siad unintentionally outbidding someone. There's nothing wrong with outbidding someone for something you want, but if it's someone you know and can contact them because of their member name you can decide to be nice and let them try to win it (or win it and pass it on in the spirit of CP). Vountary, based on each auction, and dependent on the circumstances - nothing more.

I only see one person disagreeing with the adding of CP to the comments section.

As far as I am concerned, this is a done deal.
