Of all the "creme de"-type liqueurs (cassis, menthe, blackberry brandy, etc) who makes the best ones? I'm trying to stock my cabinet, and even though I don't drink real sweet stuff, I want to be prepared for people who do. And in the event I do want a sweeter drink, I don't want crap. I'm familiar with Dekuyper, Hiram Walker, and the like, but ultimately I'm after something better that's not flavored artificially. I have found some fancier French-made creme de cassis, but am sorta at loss for others.

Thanks for the help,

P.S. I did a search. :D

Are these the things they add to a drink prior to finishing it off with an umbrella or a fruit spear?

Since these are mixers I would think that it really wouldn't matter too much unless the stuff was more swill-like than normal.

Thanks for the replies so far, folks.

This won't be a big investment. I refuse to buy things like green apple pucker, or blue raspberry ass-blast or some other nastiness. Probably just cremes de menthe, cacao, and cassis.
