Gents,

After a thorough search on the Csonka systems on CP I've come to the conclusion that no one has either bought the Automotive version or just hasn't given any feedback on it.

I read nothing but good reviews on the Csonka line of smoke cloakers from very reliable sources here, but I'm trying to see if anyone has used the Automotive version.

If there is any feedback out there on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

The system I'm referring to

Wyatt,

Great thread (and welcome back to IL  ).

Just yesterday a local shop owner was telling me about this - he and one of his employees have one and they absolutely swear by it. He doesn't sell them either so he isn't just trying to hype these up. I look forward to hearing what the members here have to say about it.

Does he use the automotive version? I've heard nothing but good things about the other models, but haven't heard anything about these.

Yes, both the owner and his employee have the auto version. In fact, now that I think about it, another customer came up towards the end of the conversation who has one as well. If I see them this weekend, I will ask to sit in their cars to see how effective the device is. One guy smokes at least two per day in his car so it should be interesting to gauge the device's effectiveness.

Let us know how it goes if you have the opportunity. I have been looking into purchasing either the car version or the original version. I have read much about the original but close to none about the car. What I was thinking about doing was purchasing the original so I could use it in the house and buying an adapter for car use.

If I do get it and it is really effective I will definately be smoking alot more.

Following this with great interest.

I use one in my SUV (I smoke at least 1/day in it) and they work great!

If you combine this with regular cleaning of your vehicle as well as using the Pure Ayre on your cloth seats & headliner, it's not a problem at all.

If you combine the current $15 rebate from PP (see the www.Cigarmony.com main page), your price would be $124.99

Hope this helps!

Sorry for the delayed report. As promised, I checked out one of the cars of the cigar smoker I know who uses the Csonka auto device. His car smells fine actually. He does have an air freshener in there as well but I could not pick up any traces of smoke (except those coming from my shirt). His car interior is leather. I was hoping to see the other guy as his car has cloth interior. I would think that cloth interior has a greater potential to absorb the smoke. I wanted to give a report on both but the other gentleman wasn't in.

I use the Csonka in combination with regular cleaning of the interior w/ Pure Ayre it's BY FAR the best odor eliminator available and besides actually working instead of covering up, it's all natural (you can drink it if so inclined).

Check out Walt's recent comparison on www.stogiereview.com
