Cuban brands that are made in Dominican republic, much difference?

Is there much difference between these? Same brand, different location, such as the Romeo y Julieta's, St. Luis Rey, and some of the other brands that are generally thought as "Cuban's". For those of you who have had both, did you notice any significant difference?
 
So if Phillies were renamed Cohibas (Im sure it's been done before, lol) you'd enjoy them the same? Doubtful, though some are fooled.

Different cigars, made in different parts of the world, with tobacco grown from different parts of the world. I'd say, there's a world of difference.

They're not going to taste the same, but it's up to your tastes as to which one is better... or any good at all.
