I have this "friend" and "he" says there is this great little cigar shop in Stuttgart, Germany that sells cubans there.
He says, "my friend", that there is a little B&M in Vaihingen - right off the train and across the street from the Schwaben Galerie.
Wow...I had no idea that those German BOTL were so lucky...you know...having all those Cubans there.
Gee, I didn't know that Cubans left Cuba and went to Germany. I have only heard of Florida Cubans.

I hope I get to meet a German Cuban in October and November. I have never met a real, live Cuban before. I wonder what they taste...er...look like. I hope they are nice.

<wandering around blissfully unaware of his surroundings>

C&G ...retired and still serving.

Germany? Never heard of the place... :whistling:

Wurm, I get up ...er...over there about two or three times a year. If you are anywhere near Stuttgart... a smoke perhaps? Oh and looky there, my schedule says October is a maybe, but November is a definite.

Dale and I are way on the other side of Nürnberg (near the Czech border)... but maybe we could meet half-way at the Casa del Puro in Nürnberg?

I'm taking vacation in both of those month but haven't set a date yet. So we can more than likely work out a place and date to herf!

Well you missed the "First CP European HERF"! I suspect the 2nd ANNUAL CP European HERF is about to happen. Hard to believe it has been a year already! Couple great BOTL if you get the chance to HERF with 'em do it.

Man that was a lot of fun. We will have to do it again someday soon Tim.

Boys… this looks like it can happen. My “maybe” deployment dates would be from 1-5 October (I gotta work through the 4th (Thursday) and maybe Friday morning), but I could stay through the weekend and fly back on Sunday. My definite dates are 2-9 November…again I could stay though the weekend (9-10 Nov) and fly back on Sunday.

I just Googled it and the Casa del Puro is only two hours from Stuttgart. I was planning a trip along the Mosel on 10 November just for the day, but I think a Friday afternoon would be a good time for me. Both in October and November. Ya think?

Well we have plenty of time to work out the details, but I'd love to get together for a few cigars. When you know more about your "Maybe" days PM me.

WILCO... Let's do this... Leroooooy Jenkinnnnnnnns.

It seems to me that most of the german cigar smokers have a fixation for cuban cigars.
Since the german ex-chancelor Schröder was seen smoking Cohibas everybody wants them despite the prohibiting price!
I personaly prefer cigars from Honduras or Nicaragua and I´m grateful for american guys
like Shawn who introduce me to the more interesting brands from there.

...just my 2 eurocents of course...
