Cubic feet question

Am I doing the math right here? My freezer that I am converting to a humie is 1'w x 3'L x 1.5' d. I get a total of 4.5 cubic feet. The " at "jelly beans" at Climmax.com call for 1 lb for every 5 cubic feet. Just want to be sure I am doing the math right before I order.

How long are these crystals usually good for anyway?

Your math is just fine, don't worry.

The beads essentially last forever. You have to add water once in a great while (maybe once a month)
