Custom Roll

I picked up these fat stogies on another forum a little while ago, and I mean FAT too! I wasn’t told who the roller was, only that they were very good smokes. These things definitely have the biggest ring gauge I’ve ever seen. The construction is impeccable with a smooth, oily Colorado shade wrapper and no noticeable veins. There’s a slight give when squeezed, good weight in the hand, and once punched I find a draw with only a small amount of resistance.

I torch the foot that’s semi covered with wrapper leaf and smoke pours from the embers. After a few puffs to get the burn going well, I take a long, slow draw. A perfect spice hits the back of the throat and the smoke is almost creamy in texture with a medium body. Tastes of roasted nuts, sweet honey, and citrus come through with a nice cinnamon spice lingering.

The burn is sharp with a huge, medium gray ash forming that holds strong until ashed at about an inch. There’s incredible flavors coming through in this behemoth and the smoke itself smooth and creamy with a deliciously long lasting finish. I’m thoroughly enjoying this cigar!

This was one of the best custom rolled cigars I’ve smoked to date. Flavors were excellent and complex as the cigar progressed with a perfect draw and creamy smoke. Fantastic smoke!

That looks like a 70 ring gauge Greg, the only cigar I can think of with that ring is a Perdomo Imennsia. I'm not even sure if they make them anymore.

Yeah, I was told it was 60, but nuh uh. It's bigger than 60. I've got a couple more that I was seriously thinking about unrolling. Could probably re-roll about ten cigars out of those two!
