they looked fantastic on defense, and if the recievers get their act together, they'll be unstoppable! GO BEARS! :D IT'S 1985 ALL OVER AGAIN.

I wouldn't go that far, although they have surprised many people.

...and I'm going to the Green Bay / Vikings game tonight in Green Bay... What a great way to watch football - rooting for BOTH teams to win...

That was a GREAT game yesterday... Carolina had no idea that train was coming through. Averaging 27.7 points per game and held to 3 - total of 12 sacks over the entire season BEFORE they met the Bears, and they had 8 yesterday...

I just wish the Bears would get an offense... Ortin is going to be a great quarterback - I just wish they would put together some receivers around him. Backe seems to be coming on - he had a great game yesterday...

I can't wait for the playoffs. The Panthers will be back, and will go all the way.

Matbe be not but I would love to see them play each other again!!

I absolutely agree!!! That will be a GREAT game - especially if Rex Grossman is back 100%!!! (not the Ortin isn't good - he's just still a little rough around the edges, but improving)

I love the Bears. They have overachieved this year thanks to a D ranked 1st in the NFL. I think Ortin can be good but the team insists that Grossman is the future. He has to prove that the can stay healthy,IMO.

hey george, now there's a herf i would'nt miss! :D

Bill Swerski: Now, gentlemen, let me ask you this: What if Da Bears were all 14 inches tall, you know, about so high? Now, what's your score of today's game?

Carl Wollarski: Against Da Giants?

Bill Swerski: Yes, give 'em a handicap.

Carl Wollarski: Bears 18, Giants 10. And that would finally be a good game.

Pat Arnold: Yeah, it would be a good game. Mini Bears 24, Giants 14.

Todd O'Conner: What about Ditka? Would he be mini, too?

Bill Swerski: No, he would be full-grown.

Todd O'Conner: Oh, then, uh.. Mini Bears 31, Giants 7.

Carl Wollarski: Oh, hold on. Then I change mine, too. I thought it was Mini Ditka.

Bill Swerski: Okay, gentlemen, another scenario: Da Bears, they don't make it, the plane is delayed.. and the only one who shows up is Ditka. Ditka vs. Da Giants. Okay, score, gentlemen.

Pat Arnold: Alright, after da heart attack, I gotta say Ditka 17, Giants 14. He just barely gets by.

Bill Swerski: Alright, that sounds exciting. Perhaps, you know, a late Ditka field goal.

Todd O'Conner: Bears!

Superfans: Bears!!

Watch out for the Vikings - just 2 back now (after that damn game tonight). I don't care for Vikings, Packers or Bears, but I tend to root for Greenbay 'cause I like Favre.

Well - my assessment of the game - both the Vikings and GB have some serious work to do. Neither looked like they're setting the world on fire... Take away the pick the Vikings had for the touchdown and GB would have won the game (again, Favre threw it RIGHT into the arms of the Vikings...). And I'm VERY disappoined in Favre - he had WIDE OPEN receivers he didn't even see. This should have been a GB blowout... Maybe that boy needs glasses. Plus - GB has no ground game whatsoever... :0

I'm not too worried about the Vikings being two back - they've got a long road ahead of them.... ;)

But I did have fun playing ring toss for beers on the guy that was wearing the Vikings hardhat with antlers on it... :whistling:
