It's the 17th of February and if you want, you can personnaly hand deliver it to the herf since we have an airport (Stewart - Newburgh) right down the road from it. You could bring a bunch of your other stuff and I'm sure that you'll sell enough off to cover your trip......... :D :thumbs: :cool:

I just PMed him because I wanted to know what he wanted for it - and he says he is willing to trade and really wants to try some incredibly expensive cigars. Something about all of the time he had invested in putting this lamp together and was didn't know what that time was worth.

But then again - I guess I should just be a good BOTL, STFU and send him whatever he wants... :whistling:

I'd like to make an open apology to you. I know I was very cruel to you in your previous post. You were VERY creative in putting that lamp together. It really does look very nice, and I am envious (Quinteros's are da BOMB). I know you were trying to make at least a 700% profit on the lamp, but I also know your time is VERY valuable (as is mine). After all, you could be doing other things with your time. And you always ship your end first.

Tell you what, Bill - to make it up to you let me send you a 5er of my smokes. I insist!!! Please accept this gift from my heart to yours. I know you'll feel much better after you've had a cigar or two.

I'll get that package on the way to you today! In the mean time, I have to figure out how much time I have invested in putting the package together. It shouldn't take me any more then, say, maybe an hour. I won't, though, charge for the costs of the shipping materials or postage. Those will be included MY TREAT.

If you'd like, just to stay fair in paying for the time I have in, you can ship me a package of smokes in return. Nothing fancy, and you can keep it to, say, three premium smokes? Does that sound fair? That's 3 premium smokes @ ~$10/ea. = ~$30.00. I know that is less than what I normally make, but I think it's fair since this is only a hobby.

Why isn't Bill as persistant about advertising sharing his latest "hobby" creation at Cigar Family, where he is also an established member?
Is it because he knows that the communty members will crucify him for his shameless self promotion and disrespect to the site's host? Too bad Bill isn't as considerate to our host and community.

Mr. MMM - I think you owe Bill an apology...

Bill, is after all, a very active and contributing member to this and a lot of other communities. Sharing his hobby creation in this community is what this community is about! Why would you try to destroy his reputation with all of your negative talk? Okay - so he wants to be compensated for his time (after all, his time IS worth something) - but that does not mean he's not still a good guy!

You really ought to think about sending Bill some cigars. Bill should compensate you back for any time you spent in putting the package together. I'm sure you could work something out with one of his lamps, clocks or birdhouses... :thumbs:
