Deadwood

f'in cocksuker, I love this show! I'm only on season one though, renting the dvds. I don't get HBO but will be looking foward to season 2 on dvd.

Excellent show, Nobody does it like big Al. This Friday they will show the last three episodes. I think they only have three more episodes left for this season, glad it's coming back in 06.

I love this show!! I don't think it has slipped any at all from season one but then I'm pretty forgiving of shows that I like. They are just different is all. It was hard for season one to not be great because it was all new to us. Al looked evil when season one started and the Tolliver came to town. It was more then a little suprising when Al turned out to be a good guy and Tolliver was the truly evil one torturing those kids in season one like he did. How can that not be great with twists like that. It's just now in season two we know everyone and it's harder to throw in twists like that while still following the story line.

Allright, right from the start, I  Joanie Stubbs. I would be nothing but broke if I lived in Deadwood with her. And everyone likes her even if their not her customers. Charlie kicks peoples asses for her, Mike the Bella Union bar tender likes her well enough to hand over his life savings to her and then turn her down later when shes looking for work. That guy that works for the widow Garrett seemed to get along pretty well with her when he first tried out the bella union. Cy even can't let go of her. It's too bad he's messed her up so bad. She seemed like she wanted Wolcott to kill her until the time came. Perhaps shes better now that she seems to be trying to help Jane.

How long can Charlie keep kicking peoples asses out in the street!!?? He messed up Wolcott pretty good and CHarlies getting up there in age. He even seemed like he was ready to go after who ever gave Jane her bruises if she had only known who it was. Now hes ready to get Wolcott again so he had to leave town before his temper got the better of him. That was SO funny though when the doc asked Wolcott if there was going to be more fighting if he gave Charlie the message about Bills final letter. "Oh I certainly hope not. I didn't fair well at all the first time." SO funny!

The language gets past me a little at times, but I like it a lot and don't mind tivoing back a moment once in a while. I know people at work though that don't like it at all just because of the style of speech. I wonder how accurate it is for the period??

The guy that works for the widow. Hes pretty cool. Recognised Wolcott on the spot when he came by for a visit. Had the rumaors ALL figured out and advised the Alma well. Now hes propsed to her. She should marry him. Hes a nice guy and will look out for her and the child very well.

Other then all that though I really haven't been watching all that much really................

Love the show and I have to agree, Joanie Stubbs. I think Al makes the show and I almost swear that they modeled Dan character after one of my friends.

Isn't Wolcott the guy or brother of the guy that show Bill Hickock? The wife and I near swear that he is but just come back all cleaned up to pull a scam.

All the4 characters are more in depth than anything on the networks. Hell, there could be a whole show on the n$%%#@ General. I have a feeling one of the is goping to get hurt in the next issue, he almost got tarred and feathered for doing nothing at all.
From what I have spoken with my good friend on (double history major, masters also and teaches coolege) the languege is supposed to be dead on.
It was the freaking frontier , plus we were only about 100 years from being little English sissies walking around in a freaking powdered wig with pointy satin shoes so the complex sentences are correct also, the sad thing is it is hard for us to follow sometimes, I mean I can keep up with most of it but sometimes I get a little confused, sad since I can actually speak English.
I like Bullock too of course, Sweringen counts on him man, they are a force.

Seems like Bullock is getting a little dull. Maybe he is about to explode..hlding all that crap in. :angry2: Bet he blows up on the final episode. :0

I luv that show..

One night in vegas when i was drink I think i did the entire dialogue from a cple episodes..the dialogue consisted of alot of choice words..

It's much slower this season. That's my main complaint. Fortunately they cranked up the f^ck quotient from 1.28/min. to 1.72/min. to help hold my interest :p

Kim Dickens (Joanie) is fine but I prefer Molly Parker

Absolutely wouldnt miss an episode, i have every episode this year on my computer, wouldnt be a problem to send you a zip.

Yes he is the same actor who played the hickock killer.

I only got into it recently, I'm not a big fan of period pieces, but they did a great job with it. I got hooked after watching the sheriff un-sheriff himself and then Al re-sheriff him, sorta. Then I tried to shoot the TV, so I learned that lesson.
