I've been doing some heavy browsing of CP recently and saw the Padron 2000 show up in quite a few posts. I'm down in NJ visiting my GF and didn't pack any cigars to smoke, so yesterday I went to a shop in her area and picked one up. All I have to say is wow. Just wow.

Also picked up a Xikar Element lighter (I'm very impulsive). It has a punch that flips out of the base. I wasn't really a fan of punching cigars, because they usually seem to clog midway through the smoke, but this punch seem fairly large and I haven't had any draw issues with any of the Padrons I've smoked thus far (I bought three more today).

I'm in the process of finding an inexpensive box of 2000's right now. One of the places I found online has a brick and mortar shop in my area so I may try to save on shipping and go pick it up. I'll also need a humidor if I'm going to start keeping more and more cigars on hand... Apparently I'm made of money... Any suggestions for entry level humidors from the veteran members?

For the box I would PM one of these guys, in no particular order:

For the humi the bigger the better. Best bet is to search through some threads. Cooler, 50 count, wine cooler, what ever you want. The smaller you get, most likely the sooner you will buy a new one.

Make sure you get a humidor that is much larger than what you think you need. I am on my third humidor since October. Just be warned, you will be buying more, if you don't go big now.

Man I've never been let down by anything Padron. The 2000 or the Londres maduros are probably my favorite golf course smoke. Cheap enough to chew on, but taste amazing!

I'm on my third humidor and just filled up a 100 qt. cooler. This place is evil. And yes, the padron x000 series is definitly worth buying a box of.

Digger, you're in good company here. If I go for a while without smoking a Padron, I'll get to the point where I'll think to myself, "they're no way they're as good as I remember." Then I smoke one and love them even more.
