Dipping cigars?

If you want to imbue the flavor of liquor into a cigar, there is a better way. Just place a 1/2 shot or so into a cigar box and let a cigar sit with it for a few days or so. I've done this using Bacardi Rum and a Cusano 18 because I have ten left that I am bored with. The cigar tasted a lot like the bacardi. It was pretty lousy.

I like the Makers Marks cigars. I keep a box around for a special relaxing night. This is one of the few cigars people around will not complain. As to dipping I would like to try it if I could found a good way to do it. I might try this like an earlieb post said with an extra humi. Sounds cool to try and it maybe a nice change of pace once in a while. Don't any of you worry I will not use any PREMIUMS or ISOMS.

The humidor idea makes more sense to me. FYI, I did try "dipping" the other day with some cheapies I had gotten from Cbid (1876s?). If you do a quick dip, you basically get a bit of the flavor on your lips. The whole experience is really not changed. It's really no different than sipping and then taking a puff.

I did notice that the more you dipped, the tip got soggy and it was harder to draw.

TO EACH, THEIR OWN!! :whistling:

Jason
