I fell in love with the Backwoods honey flavored while home on vacation.

and I like the thompson black labels The only ones of the 100 "free" cigars I kept when I bought my barrel humidor.

I would have to say the Rosa Cuba Herencia, robusto sized stick...9.99 for a bundle of 20, and they are a heck of a deal for the money..a great cheap smoke, ash consistently holds for 2+ inches, and has a great taste and aroma to it. Its a mixed filler cigar with filler from DR, Nicaragua, and Honduras..the binder is nicaraguan and the wrapper is ecuador sumatran... not a bad deal for like 50-60 cents a stick...

IMHO - for a killer smoke on the cheap, it's hard to beat a Padron Fumas. You can usually find 'em for around $45.00 / 25 which comes out to a little less than $2.00 / each.

I have really been enjoying the Drew Estates La Vieja Habana - Fumas. Nice tasting mixed filler, the robusto size is about $25.00 for a box of 20.

When my humi gets a little empty, I pick up a ammo box of La Fincas from JR Cigar. It's 91 La Finca Joyas for $60.

They're nothing you're going write home about, but they make a great cheap smoke, and an even better handout.

Yeah, I've been meaning to try a Padron Fumas since I continuously hear such good things about them. My two favorite inexpensive cigars are:

Flor de Oliva (bundle)
El Mejor

The flor de oliva cigars are excellent cigars for the money. Although sometimes you can find them cheaper, they usually go for about 35 bucks for 25. The El Mejor is a full-bodied smoke that I have really come to like. I enjoy it more than many of my more expensive smokes that I have in my humi. I'm not one that loves full-bodied smokes, but this one is different. It has a deep, chocolate flavor with slight sweet overtones.

Hey Eshaw - how about a trade for some of your Padron Fumas cigars? I could offer you some Flor de Olivas, El Mejor or Connies (whatever your preference)

You pay more money when you move up to bigger cigars... I smoke a lot of corona sized cigars for around $2-3 a stick. A churchill or double corona is too much of a time commitment for an everyday smoke. I prefer to spend an extra 50c and go up to a long filler cigar, like moving up from the Padron Fumas to the Londres, just my opinion.

Flor de Ybor city SG's are sposed to be pretty good. I haven't tried em personally but from what I've heard they're awesome for $55 dollars a bundle.

HEY ALL YOU PADRON FUMAS FANS - any of you who want to do a trade, perhaps a fiver, let me know. I've got some El Mejors, Connies, Flor do Olivas and others that I could trade. I would love to experience this smoke for myself since I keep hearing such great things about them.

The Padron Fumas seem to be pretty hard to get. I have been trying to get my hands on a box, but everywhere I look they seemed to be out of stock. Oh well.

As far as cheapies go, LVH Fumas are very good and a couple of weeks ago I snagged a bundle of Roly's the Puro Indios 2nds. Have only smoked a few and the taste is pretty decent although the construction is not very good, but for $17.95/ bundle of 20 I didn't expect much.

I'm really surprised that no one else besides me has made any mention about Flor de Olivas (bundles). At about $1.50 a smoke, I believe they're one of the best values out there (at least that I've come across).

Good luck...their getting harder and harder to find...all the more reasons why ive tucked several boxes away in the back of my humidor. Shop around though...they are out there.
