I have a transmitter in each of my coolidors that transmits temp and humidity to a base unit which sits on my desk. I was noticing that I was having to add a water dish more frequently in my Fuente coolidor but I didn't think much of it, I just felt it was because of the dry ambient RH in winter.

Every once in a while I will check the transmitters by doing the salt test or putting them in a lock-n-lock box with some Boveda packs. I did this last week and found that this transmitter had lost its mind; it was reading 6 low. So ....... I had been pumping up the RH in that coolidor for some time which reprogrammed the beads to 76%.

I left the cooler open while I removed all the boxes and inspected them one at a time, and then I swapped some of the beads from this cooler with beads from the other two and I will check them frequently to monitor progress. I have made a note to recheck the boxes in a couple weeks but I think I caught it in time.

This is exactly why I don't send you seegars! You can be trusted to keep them proper.. Freakin' old people; especially old people from Ohio! Damn!

You don't send him seegars because you don't have any.
