Do any of you actually prefer to keep your smokes under 60%?

I am down in the 55% range right now. Earlier I thought that a smoke that is more moist would burn cooler. What I found is that I would be puffing too often just to keep it burning straight, then the cigar gets too harsh. The other thing is because I live in Houston, the humidity is pretty high and I can tell that the cigars I smoke outside tend to get a bit tighter toward the end. So, I've had good luck in the low range.

Geez, where did all these new Houston guys come from?

All I have to say is

GO ASTROS!

Greatest city on earth!!!

I have kept my box at 72% for the last few years and love it there. Call me crazy but I do not like a dry crumbly cigar. I will run into draw problems now and again, but I will put up with it for the taste I prefer.
Just my .02 cents. But again, it comes down to preference....

Everyone has to find the right humidity for their individual taste - in consideration of their respective climate. I used to strive for 62%, but experimenting all of last year has made me happy to find 66% fit better for me.
