Do you find yourself doing this?

I've been meaning to ask if this was just me or does this happen to most if not all of you. I find myself spitting when I walk or smoke outside. If I am smoking indoor, the urge to spit never even comes to mind. Does anyone have a reason for this?

It depends on the cigar, but yes. I tend to want to spit more when I am outside, and never have that urge when inside. I tend to drink water when smoking inside, and soda or something else flavored when outside, so that could be a reason.

I am the same way...spit outside but the urge to spit indoors never occurs. Kinda odd :whistling:

I used to smoke cigarettes and didn't spit then, but a woman who worked for me used to spit several times during each cigarette. (Talk about attractive....)

I'll spit time to time when outside, but it's usually to cut the strength a bit. If I'm having a cigar with less strength I usually don't.

The only time I have the urge to spit is if it takes long to light the cigar. For some reason, I guess it creates a nasty flavor or something.

I do spit a bit outside Joe. For the most part I am conscience of it and try not to, but it is a habit. I think the evolution of spitting for me started with years of playing baseball to years of spitting while smoking cigarettes to now randomly spitting while having a cigar outside. I do think I spit more when having a strong flavored cigar.

I too find myself spitting about 30 minutes into a cigar.
