Dodged a bullet

We were looking at a potential devastating freeze, and by God's Grace, it didn't get that cold. I have 30 acres of Nursery that was very susceptible to freeze damage, and i wasn't able to get it covered (usually late freezes aren't an issue here, w/ what i grow), so i was sweating bullets thurs night when they were talking 25 degrees. It had potential to cost me well into 6 figures in damage, but as friday and saturday went by, the forecast was trending upwards, so i made my bet on cloud cover rolling in and keeping the temp from dropping. Whew, glad i got it right, for a change, only got to 38, may have to fire up a 'special smoke' tonight to celebrate!

I'm just north of Orlando and we only saw the mid-40's. In fact, I'm sitting in the den with a roaring fire in the fireplace right now!
