Does anyone around here watch LOST?

I've heard they're running about 7 weeks worth of episodes at the start of the season and then taking a long break over the middle of the season and returning in time for the last episodes to run uninterrupted. Sounds good, I guess. I'd rather just have them start it late and run them all consecutively, but the solution they've come up with is better than this past season.

Well, that sucks for me. I'd prefer them just run a regular season straight through, like The Shield on FX. No breaks. No reruns. Just a quick season and no foolishness. That's what I like, anyways.

I am very disappointed in Lost. I was excited about the season finale and have been watching every episode, but their recaps are just KILLING ME. 30 minutes in and I fell asleep because it was so boring. :angry:

Without a doubt. And I like the way they are running it these season. Instead of breaking up the new eps randomly with intermitent reruns, they are showing the new eps in two big blocks seperated by a block of reruns. This time we won't have to wait 3 weeks between episodes to find out what the hell is going on!

I really hate this new trend in TV - Stargates SG-1 and Atlantis just had their "Season Finale" last week - yet is's only halfway through a regular season's worth of episodes (they'll pick back up in a couple months, and it will still be the same season - this fake mid-season finale thing is getting tiresome). It's all marketing and ratings.

On the plus side, I finally got to watch Lost season 2, so I'm hyped up to watch it now. I started watching Season 1 just as Season 2 was airig, so I had to wait until now to see it - which I think makes it better as it's all fresh in my mind

One of my 3 favourite shows this is, along with "24" and "The Sopranos". We buy the DVD's each year.
