When I got home from work today my dog Einstein, had a huge gash on his leg either from a bite from these two dogs we are watching or from scraping against something. Either way..it is going to cost...$500!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some photos of Einstein as a puppy and then a close up...

We get to pick him fro the Hospital in 1 hour...

I can only imagine what we would go through if something happened to our Oliver. I hope for a speedy recover.

We just got home and he has to wear the lampshade thingy. too funny! This was an emergency care place that had to sow up this gash on his leg. It was probably excessive but he is part of the family. It was mostly for medication and the sedation for the surgery.

He has great spirits though.

Sorry to hear about his injury! He's a cute puppy though! What kind of dog is he??

He's def a mutt. I believe he has part great Pyrenees (sp?) and maybe part collie. We got him as a rescue dog.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Sorry to hear about you dog. I know what it's like to have your dog get hurt. When my dog was a puppy he got hit by a car and broke his leg. It cost our family about 2500 dollars for them to fix him, but they are worth every penny. Good luck hope your dog heals fast!

Hope the little guy makes a speedy recovery. My two dogs send their best wishes as well. :)

Sorry to hear about your pup...he is a good lookin dog!

Glad he's ok. The conehead is going to get annoying very quickly, for you as well as for him.

Sammy ended up with a bad gash on his leg while playing outside - he ran into a sharp rock, we think, and tore his leg open, nearly all the way around. Very ouchy. So it's not necessarily another dog's fault ... they're more than capable of doing damage to themselves.

Sorry to hear this, hope it is a speedy recovery!
