Domino Table: Any Recommendations?

My smoking club has a great rec room, but it only has one domino table. It fills up quickly and once play starts, it is tough to break in.

I am looking for some recommendations from the collective BOTL on places to buy a decent folding version. I have seen some on-line that look nice but I am wary of buying sight unseen.

Any help would be appreciated.

i know of two places in the bronx that has them but its hit or miss when they do. i have never gone in to check price cause i wasnt in the market. we usually play on what ever surface we find. i might be able to swing by one this weekend if you like.

my boy's wife brought him one for around 350 pretty nice, they inlayed a Puerto Rican flag in the middle, i guess they can place about anything in the middle.

In the Bronx, Brook Avenue & 149th Street. $225.

I'm also in the process of making one. The playing board is going to be covered with Heineken caps. I need about 105 more to go. I'll post some pics when I'm done with it.

Taking pics after 105 beers is never a good idea

The total of caps is actually about 425. I only need about 105 to go. Lots of drinking there, my friend. It's been about 4 months in the making.
The sad thing about it is, I emailed Heineken countless of times to see if I can purchase caps at bulk. They told me to beat it.

Those bastards

i knew this was the right place to ask my questions

Hey Pete,
If you get the chance, post or pm me any information on the price of the place in the Bronx. Being a Bronx boy at heart (high school and college), I would really love to buy the table in my favorite boro. And I could swing by White Castle on my way home.

I also found this one:

Road trip to the Bronx every Sunday. Which White Castle? Fordham Road, Webster Avenue or Bruckner Blvd? I don't like going to the good neighborhoods, it takes away from the ambiance!

Either the Fordham Road one or the Bruckner one work for me. I went to school and lived behind the one on Fordham Road, so that is just going back to the hood. The Bruckner one is easier to get back to Jersey from.

it all depends on where the Domino table place is.

Or if it's in Queens, i could to either of the one's on Queens Blvd (lived next to them too)
