Got my Blue Labels in from CI today. Can't wait to smoke one since it's been a while since I've had one. When did they start coming in cellophane or am I just remembering wrong?

Its a shame..
He started doing this a while back.
I would say 8-12 mos?

I remember smoking his salamones uncelloed..Now they come in cello

OK, just making sure I'm not going crazy. I did like them naked, but I can also remember toting one in a suit jacket and when it came time to light up, it was a little less that pristine....still smoked great though :D

You're not required to smoke the cello. Most take it off.

Doc.

I figure with the cello it protects the cigars and it also gives us the choice to store them cello'ed or not.

I personally don't care all that much, I generally keep them as they arrive. What I do like about the cello is that I can just grab one and don't have to worry about wrapper damage. At the same time I have damaged wrappers before while taking the cello off (I've had a couple sticks where the cello seemed a bit too tight)
