Based on some of your recommendations, I would like to try a 5 pack of the Torano Signatures in that they are similar to the CAO Brazilia's, but cheaper. The only concern I have is that I have tried the Torano Exodus 1959"s and found the draw to be too tight for me. Is the draw on Torano's in general considered to be tight?

This site still got some for sale and at a decent price. I hear they are good people, never dealt with them myself though.

I don't know what the general consensus is, but this is the only line from Torano that I care for. I have gone through about 10 of the torp's and never noticed any problem with the draw. I like the little perfectos the best. They are a decent price and great short smoke. I don't think they resemble the Brazillia at all, but that is just my taste. They are more peppery/leathery than the CAO's. Hope this helps.

The Exodus 59's are unsmokable(well the one I tried was). Every other C Torano I have tried has been pretty good. With the 1916's being the nicest I have tried.(Robusto's)

The Signature is the only cigar I really like from Torano. It's one of the mainstays in my humi. I haven't had any noticeable draw issues with them and they usually burn razor sharp. Lots of smoke and one of the whitest ashes around. Good stuff, IMO.

Two things you need to know:

1. They don't even remotely taste like Brazilias
2. The perfecto is different and much better AND more expensive than the rest of the vitolas

AND a damn fine smoke, too!

The sig is my favorite torano, and I've never had one with a bad draw.

I had my first Exodus 1959 last Sunday afternoon and it had a fairly tight draw. Not enough to make me quit though. I thought it tasty enough, but the 1916 is my favorite Torano. I've not experienced any draw problems with the 1916's

Seriously? I assume you're referring to their taste (?) Both the Exodus Gold and Silver are among my favorite smokes - second only to the 1916 Cameroon.

Myself, I'm a great fan of every Toranos besides the Reserva Selecta. Despite being the most expensive Toranos, it was somewhat tasteless. But even it had flawless construction and perfect draw. Never had a burn problem with any of them.

I will agree that the Signature has nothing in common with the Brazillia (other than perhaps the strength). If you're a fan of bold cigars, I would suggest the Vituoso.

Can't help you on the Toranos as I've yet to taste even one that I cared for, but if you're hoping for a Brazilia tasting stick, buy the CAOs. The Toranos I have tried didn't seem to have any draw issues however :sign:

Great smoke.

and smokeall.com is a great place. (SHHHHHHHHHHHH.....)

I very much like the 1959 exodus cigars from Torano. I like a robust but not bitter cigar and these fit the bill. I like them very much. One has to wonder if some folks are smoking Torano cigars that have been over-humidified along the way causing the tight draw. I admit they are a compact bundle but I have not popped a vein, either, getting a drag from one. Perhaps I am getting fresher cigars here in Miami.

I have to mimic a lot of the previous statments. They are worth a try.
The only Torano line I can stand is the Signature. Amazing enough it is miles better than the rest of their line.
They in no way resemble the Brazil in my opinion. I feel they are smoother with less richness. Not in a bad way though.
The Perfecto and Torp are the best of the line.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck
