Ok, I've told myself its probably better not to ask this but curiousity is killing me.
What does it mean when someone posts something like this-

DC# 0103 8555 7494 5087 8676

Is it some kinda code?

That's a Delivery Confirmation number from the post office. When someone sends a package, they post this number to show that a package has entered the hands of the USPS.

Though similar, it's not the same as a UPS or FedEx tracking number. This only tells you when something's been picked up and then when something's been delivered, not the stops on the way.
