Whats the opinion on Duncan Taylor aged whisky and other independent bottles of aged whisky? Spec's just got several different kinds in and it seems too good to be true to pay 100.00 bucks for a 25-40 year old whisky.

I have had a couple Duncan Taylors that I liked, although I don't recall which distilleries they were from at the moment.
If helps if you are familiar with the distillery they sourced the whiskey from, but in general they seem to have quality stuff.

I have nothing from Duncan Taylor in my little collection. I did buy a 50 year old bottle from Gordon and Macphail that I really like.
