Anyone here tried this yet? I sampled some at buffalo Trace the other day (which is just down the road from my home lol) And i really enjoyed it. I bought some today, and Im really starting to like it more and more with each sip. Out of all of the bourbon's i've tried (which isn't alot yet) this has a more dominant vanilla flavor to it which i havent't noticed in most. i find it quite yummy. Maybe some some fruit and wood in there too. For just around 30$ I would say that is very cheap for it. Havent't tried it yet? Go get some now!!!!!!! lol

Eagle rare is good stuff and a definite value buy in regards to fine bourbon. In fact, most all products coming out of Buffalo Trace are solid performers and will not disapoint. Wait til you get your hands on some of their Antique Collection offerings :thumbs:

when does the antique collection come out?
 
X2 on the Stagg, I would also look at the Thomas Handy, William Larue Weller, Eagle Rare 17 and Sazerac 18 to that list. :D I kid but, seriously they are all excellent and I have never had a bad offering. Stagg is my favorite but, they are all solid.

It is usally around Thanksgiving around here but, you should start looking in Oct. Price ranges anywhere between $55 and $65 a bottle. Sounds pricey but, most are cask strength and definitely worth it. :thumbs:
