I am starting this thread so that we can move the commentary here and declutter the blind review PIF thread.  
 
Ed, you requested and received the blind review pass.  Your review was completed and question posted per the rules.  Chiefmd then requested receipt of the pass with no response from you.  He also sent a pm that also got no response from your end.  A package has been sent to him to keep the pass moving forward in your absence.  
 
Your last visit to the forum occurred on Sept. 29th.  Your absence is unusual and cause for concern.  I do hope for the best, however an explanation to the board is due.  Thank you.

Cut him some slack. He's 70yrs old and a cancer survivor. I have to believe he's incapacitated in some way or maybe his wife is ill. When he's able, I'm sure he'll respond. Believe it or not, there are somethings more important than CP

Guys, let's remember to keep certain things private and let the senior members handle these sort of issues. It's always in everyone's best interest to take care of CP business behind closed doors by those who have the advantage of witnessing similar scenarios in the past. Let them know what is happening and let them decide when to post a pubic thread.
 
Sending a PM to a long time member like Tim and asking for advice will always be welcomed. I do it frequently myself. It's always a good idea to get a second & third opinion when it comes to things like this. The Internet is a funny place where written word can be taken in a different context than it was meant to be.
 
Also, I'm not singling you out William for the start of this thread, I'm just using this as an opportunity to explain to the newer members how things work around here....which is to say that things work differently here than at other cigar forums.  

CP being self moderated comes with a small amount of responsibility to each and every member to conduct themselves with a level head & proper decorum....which William did. It is the very foundation that CP was built on by Rod and the initial members who set the tone that prevails today. It's up to us newer members to honor that code of conduct. 
 
Thank you Gary for addressing this topic, your points are being noted.  I just want to say that the reason for this thread was not to call out Ed, but to bring the discussion of the issue off of the PIF thread.  As another member pointed out in the thread, that particular pass is prone to confusion without having another discussion take up its space.  I did try to word the OP in the nicest way possible and only point out what has already been said publicly.  If, however, I did cross a line, then I do apologize.
