Fast forward to Monday morning. The sun came up to 55 degrees and calm wind.

I combined all of the little (mostly) empty coffee jars into one, and fished out this fine mixed filler stick - and then sat out on the deck and watched the sun come up.

Victor Sinclair Fumas Lonsdale Maduro. Under a buck. Excellent El Cheapo smoke.

Medium Nicaraguan with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

This stick is all spotty-looking - looks like a cross between a natural and an maduro wrapper, but it smoked very well.

Nicaraguan fillers, Habano binder, Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper.

Peppery up front, and then a nice smoke. Good draw. Even, slow burn.

From the Philippines - $0.71 Double Happiness Churchill.

Mellow+ - Nicaraguan filler, Habano binder, Connecticut wrapper.

This is my second 50-bundle (Nov '23), and all of them have smoked way above this price point, as did the previous bundle. These are sorta like those budget Dominican sticks, except that these have been more consistent, and usually a bit more flavor.

This one is from mid-Nov 2023, and it smoked well.

This is the last one from the January batch, and they have all smoked well.

Cult Ometepe Torpedo. Cigar Page had these on sale for a buck-fifty a while back. This is my first one from that batch.

Nicaraguan with Ometepe filler/binder and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

Medium/full

Nice smoke, and it was well behaved.

Honduran, with Honduran & Nicaraguan fillers and an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper.

This one is a nice mellow+ smoke with a faint bit of spice, and a decent tobacco flavor. It's a good early day smoke.

It's a nice spring morning with flowers - and a hundred happy happy peeper frogs making a lot of racket. The sun is up, and the coffee brewed.

Queue the $1.94 (delivered) Victor Sinclair Legacy Churchill 7 x 50 from a large VS sampler - smoked right off the truck.

A medium hodgepodge of long leaf Nicarguan Ligero, Olor, Dominican Criollo 98, and Dominican Piloto Cuban fillers - an Indonesian Sumatra binder - and an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.

It all sounds like "leftover surprise", but it turned out to be a very decent , and well behaved smoke.

It looks mild, but this is a full-bodied smoke.

A mellow Dominican with a "sliver of Ligero" - in an Connecticut wrapper.

The frugal shopper can buy these for $2-ish.

These Victor Sinclair sticks have all been well behaved.
